Emergency procedures, postponed surgeries, and deliveries are frequent occurrences in obstetrics and gynecology.We appreciate your patience, and if we are running behind schedule, our staff may try to let you know.
We request that you arrive promptly for your visitIf you know you won’t be able to make it to your appointment or will be late, call the office as soon as you can.Payment may be required for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
You are welcome to call the office and request a prescription refill by dialing 301.6659098, option 3
Requests for prescription refills are sent twice daily, at 12 a.m. and 4 p.m., to your pharmacy.After 4 p.m. and on weekends, prescription requests will be processed the following business day.We need the following details in order to call in your prescription refill.Name of the patient, date of birth, name and location of the pharmacy, name and dosage of the medication, and a phone number with area code where we can contact you.
According to all applicable federal and state laws, Capital Women’s Care upholds patient rights by maintaining the confidentiality of all medical records.To release or transfer medical records, federal and state laws require the patient’s signature or the signature of an authorized personal representative.All documents pertaining to the patient’s health that were created by or under the direction of a healthcare professional connected to Capital Women’s Care are referred to as patient records.Capital Women’s Care cannot provide copies of records that patients provide to another doctor outside of CWC; instead, they are advised to keep their own copy.
