Centerpoint Energy Login Bill Pay
To login to CenterPoint Energy billing online, follow these steps:
- Visit the https://myaccount.centerpointenergy.com website and click on the “Sign In” button in the top right corner.
- Enter your username and password in the provided fields. If you do not have a login, click on the “Create Account” link to set up your account.
- Once you have logged in, click on the “Pay My Bill” tab.
- Select the payment method you would like to use and follow the prompts to complete your payment.
- Review your payment details and submit your payment to complete the process.
To access your online payment options, please sign into your secure online account. From there, you can make an immediate payment, schedule future payments, and set up automatic payments. You can also set payment alerts, update communication preferences, and more.
Set Up AutoPay
If you would like to enroll in automatic recurring payments each month, you can do so through My Account. Simply register or sign in to your account, and then follow the prompts to set up automatic payments. Alternatively, you can complete the form on the back of your bill and mail it to the address provided. This will also enroll you in automatic recurring payments.
Pay by Phone & Mail
If you need to contact our Customer Service Department, you can do so during business hours, which are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on holidays. You can also access account self-service functions 24/7.

Pay In Person
If you prefer to make your payments in person, you can do so at one of our authorized payment centers. These locations will accept your payment and provide you with a receipt. Payments made at these locations before 5 p.m. will be posted to your account on the next business day.

Can’t Pay Bill – We Can Help
If you are having difficulty paying your natural gas bill, please contact us immediately for assistance. Do not wait until you receive a disconnection or shut-off notice, or until your natural gas service has been disconnected. We also offer several programs and services that can provide payment assistance.
You can set up a payment arrangement or request a payment extension by contacting our Customer Service team. Additionally, there may be financial assistance available to eligible low-income households for home heating needs through federally funded programs and crisis assistance offered by counties.
You can also contact 211 and the United Way for information and referrals for energy assistance. They offer many services, and you may qualify for help.
CenterPoint Energy also sponsors programs that provide utility bill assistance for families in need. These programs are primarily funded through donations from generous customers, and donations can be added to your monthly bill.
CenterPoint Energy gives the donations to local charities such as the American Red Cross, the United Way, and the Salvation Army to fund programs that help our neighbors manage their natural gas expenses. Donations are tax-deductible.
