To accurately record, bill, and collect payments for the City’s utility services is the duty of the Utility Billing Department and the Meter Reading Department.More than 52,000 electric, water, and irrigation meters are currently read each month by the meter reading department. Each month, the utility bills for nearly 28,000 accounts are produced by the utility billing department using those readings.
The two departments process all customer requests for new utility service in the City of Bentonville, requests to have meters reread, customer inquiries, and all payments for utility billings in addition to producing the utility bills each month.
