1,000 gallons/month minimum $4.32 per 1,000
1,001 – 10,000 gallons $4.32 per 1,000
10,001 – 100,000 gallons $3.90 per 1,000
*100,001 – 1,000,000 gallons $3.45 per 1,000
All over 1,000,000 gallons $2.16 per 1,000
1,000 gallons/month minimum at $5.31 per 1,000

City Water Bill Assistance

Some households in Burlington who have had financial issues because of COVID may be eligible to receive up to $100 per month for six months to help with City of Burlington water bills.

The following qualifications apply:

  • Residents must have experienced reduced income as a result of either COVID-related job loss or COVID-related illness-related absences from work.
  • The HUD’s low-moderate income requirements must be met by residents (see table below).
