The Utilities Customer Service Division works to give our citizens accurate billing and account management while also delivering professional and prompt customer service. Services provided include:
Service inquiries or issues can be reported to our office at 903-465-2720 option 1 during regular business hours.Please call the after-hours phone number at 903-464-4427 for service issues, such as water main breaks or leaks and sewer problems, that arise after regular business hours.
Please call Public Works at 903-465-2720 option 2 with any questions regarding refuse, including missed trash pick-up, scheduling a special pick-up, trash pick-up schedules, and dumpster requests.

The legislature passed H in an effort to safeguard private customer information from unfair business practices.B 872 HBA municipally owned utility (MOU) that provides water, wastewater, sewer, gas, garbage, electricity, or drainage service is subject to the provisions of Section 872.
Effective immediately, unless the customer chooses to make the information public or certain exceptions apply, an MOU may not disclose customer information (including the customer’s address) under the Public Information Act (PIA).Information that: (1) indicates whether an account is past due or is eligible for disconnection; and (2) is gathered as part of an advanced metering system is also not disclosed to the public.
HB 872 essentially reverses the prior law’s requirements Before HBUtility customers had to complete a form in order to request that their information remain private in 872. Failure to do so made the customer’s information publicNow, unless a customer chooses to make it public, their information is protected.
