What to Do if You Can’t Pay Your Natural Gas Bill
If you’re having trouble paying your natural gas bill for any reason, call a collections service agent right away at 850-435-1810. Don’t wait until your bill becomes delinquent. If you let us know that you need help, we might be able to assist you.
We frequently set up payment plans for clients who require additional time to pay the entire bill. When possible, we will suggest organizations with fuel assistance programs to clients who need help paying their bills.
As a last resort, Pensacola Energy disconnects customers who don’t pay their bills. Your account will be set up for disconnecting if we don’t hear from you by the due date on your bill. Please be aware that city employees cannot accept a payment at your home to prevent a disconnect.
If your gas service is cut off, you can get it back once your account is in good standing. Please refer to Having Your Natural Gas Reconnected.
We make an effort to be adaptable and approach unique case scenarios individually. We always consider things like the cold weather, a death or illness in your family, age, a handicap or disability.
