- What is AutoPay? By enrolling in AutoPay, customers can make automatic payments for their utility bills via electronic funds transfers. With no checks to write, no stamps to buy, and no need to call or visit our office, AutoPay can save you time and money. With AutoPay, you will still receive a statement each month, but your payment will be taken out of your checking or savings account on the due date for that statement. To enroll, log into your utility account online or call customer service. NOTE: The processing of the request will take five (5) business days. When “AutoPay – Do Not Pay” appears on your utility statement, AutoPay will start working. Any outstanding balance must still be settled in other ways.
- The Budget Bill Program gives residential customers a levelized monthly payment amount based on the average monthly bill amount for the previous twelve (12) months at the current service location. The customer must also fulfill other credit eligibility requirements and have lived at the current service location for at least twelve (12) months in order to qualify. The customer must maintain credit eligibility in order to continue participating in the program, and the calculated payment amount will be reviewed at least once a year.
- What is a preferred due date? A preferred due date establishes a monthly utility bill payment deadline to more appropriately accommodate residential customers’ capacity to make prompt and full payments. The customer must be credit-eligible to apply and must continue to be eligible to participate in the program.
- A third party notification is used for the convenience of a person who wants a third party to be informed when the account has become past due and could be disconnected.
