Wastewater (Sewer) Arrearage Payment Program
In April 2022, the City applied for $2. Funding of $2 million is provided for unpaid household and business wastewater accounts.
In order to qualify, past-due water and/or wastewater utility bills must have accumulated between March 4, 2020, and June 15, 2021, during the State Board’s COVID-19 pandemic relief period:
- Accounts of residential, commercial, and institutional customers, both active and inactive, as well as accounts with payment plans or other payment arrangements, are eligible.
- In the City’s transition to “owner-only billing,” accounts from tenants are still eligible for Program funds even if they were later converted to the property owner. ”.
- No application is necessary for Program funds for eligible residential and commercial customers.
- Money will be credited to qualifying accounts’ water and/or wastewater utility bills.
- Eligible customers will be notified by mail.
