Over 248 miles of sanitary sewer mains and 308 miles of water mains are operated and maintained by the Taylor Water and Sewer Department.

The Water Department performs numerous customer service tasks, informs residents about safe water concerns, and manages all meter readings in the city.We can read water meters using our automated meter reading system without having to go inside a building or place of business.Additionally, it assists in decreasing and/or eliminating the need for all estimated costs.
Please make an appointment with the Customer Assistance Center if you receive an estimated bill (designated by an “E” on your water bill), so that any mechanical issues (such as a dead battery or loose wire) can be fixed. Water accounts are billed on a bimonthly basisA “A” on a water bill means that it is based on actual reads.
The Cashier’s Office is where payments in person must be made. It is located at Taylor City Hall, 23555 Goddard Road, Taylor, MI 48180.
