Electronic Check Presentment: OPT-Out
For more information about opting out, please get in touch with our customer service department. Through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network, merchants can convert paper checks from customers into electronic payments using electronic checks (an electronic equivalent of a paper check).
You have the choice to refuse having your paper check converted to an electronic version. This indicates that your check will be processed similarly to a regular paper check.
CUD’s office in Murfreesboro is located at 709 New Salem Highway, and it has two drive-thru windows. We accept cash, checks, money orders, debit/credit cards (only Discover, Mastercard, or Visa), debit/credit cards, and travelers’ checks. Checks should be made payable to Consolidated Utility District. Please do not send cash via mail.

Additionally, you can make payments online or over the phone using a Discover, Mastercard, or Visa credit or debit card. You will be sent to a third-party website automatically, where a $1 processing fee is due. 75 for each $400 increment.
Please remember not to select the automated payment option if you are calling to pay your bill on the day of disconnect. The automated payment option does not permit partial payments. You will need to contact Customer Service at 615-893-7225. Payments made after 4:30 p. m. will be considered the next business day’s transactions.
You will be asked to enter both your Account Number and your Occupant Number when using the automated system. On your bill, both of these numbers are in the upper right corner.
