Insurance
Please bring a photo ID and your current insurance card with you to every appointment. Co-payments are due at the time of service. You will be responsible for any deductibles or additional fees, which may be requested at the time of service. Please call the member service number listed on the back of your insurance card if you have any questions about your insurance coverage with Hudson Physicians.
Medicare
Medicare claims are accepted by us, and our office will submit them directly to Medicare. The patient will be charged for the portion of the fee that Medicare does not cover, or a secondary insurance will be filed.
Credit Policy
At the time of service, a patient’s insurance deductible, co-payments, and any other costs not covered by their insurance plan are collected. Unless other arrangements have been made in advance with the business office, all accounts that were not paid at the time of service are due within 30 days of receiving the billing statement. Any new patients to the clinic who are from outside the area, are uninsured, or have insurance that is not contracted with the clinic will be required to pay for their services when they arrive for their appointment. At the sole discretion of the staff in the business office, Hudson Physicians reserves the right to demand payment at the time of service.
Regardless of insurance coverage, patients are responsible for paying their account. Hudson Physicians will not be held liable for paying out on a disputed claim. Insurance company payment delays are not an acceptable excuse for account payment delays. Hudson Physicians does accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Online bill pay is also available. Please contact our Business Office at 715-531-6810 for more information.
