You might be immediately disconnected if your balance drops into the negative. Simply recharge your account by making a payment to MES. Once you meet the minimum reconnection balance of $25. 00 and the $10. 00 disconnection fee, your electric meter will be reconnected.
At the end of the month, any account that is more than 10 days old will be reconciled. The customer may not see these reconciliations until the first of the following month. To create its usage statements, MyUsage, a third-party vendor, communicates with MES’s billing and metering systems. Variations may occur as a result of rate structures or communications delays. Reconciliations will therefore be used to resolve any discrepancies between the MyUsage portal and MES’s billing systems.
