- Residents: NYCHA will continue to mail your monthly rent statement if you currently receive it that way. If you sign up for E-Bill, you won’t get a paper bill instead you can view your statement online.

The automated payroll rent deduction program for NYCHA is open to employees of other City departments as well. Every month, the first two paychecks will be withheld to cover half of the rent. Deductions are half of the outstanding balance, not just the rent, so they can be more than half of the monthly rent. If no deductions are being made, either the employee’s agency is not participating in the program or the development did not add the employee to the system.
