An initiative to help your utility bill’s seasonal highs and lows is called average monthly billing. Depending on future water use and the number of days in each billing cycle, the average monthly bill amount can change each month.
The balance will be added to or deducted from your subsequent bill if you stop receiving average monthly billing.
You are eligible for average monthly billing if you:
- Are a residential customer (single-family dwelling, duplex, or mobile home)
- Have water service
- Have received at least one utility bill
- Enrolled in Auto Pay
- The account is not past due
If your account qualifies, you may enroll online via the My OKC Utilities Portal or by calling Utilities Customer Service at (405) 297-2833.
You can apply for an installment plan or a payment extension at My OKC Utilities. Installment plans can be set up through the My OKC Utilities portal if you are a qualified customer and need to spread out your utility bill payment. Choose the required duration and the maximum amount for each installment. As a reminder, installment plans can assist you in paying off larger balances, but you will continue to incur charges for water usage and other monthly utility bills.
