If you received a termination notice:
- Sign into your online account
- View your options to prevent your shut off by clicking “Get Help Paying” and following the directions.
If you’re not currently on a payment agreement:
- To prevent your scheduled termination and gradually pay off your past-due balance, apply for a new one.
If your payment agreement is past due:
- Review the cost necessary to end your shutoff and resume your agreement.
- In the event that you are unable to make that payment, check our bill help page to see if you are eligible for one of our income-eligible assistance programs, such as Operation HELP, LIHEAP, and ERAP, which can assist you in paying the required sum to prevent your scheduled shut off.

Once enrolled, your budget amount may fluctuate every three months to keep up with your usage of electricity. We’ll settle the discrepancy between your actual energy usage and the amount you were billed after a year. If you used more, we’ll bill you the difference. If you used less, we’ll credit your account.
