I received a termination notice; how can I stop my shut off?
If you received a termination notice:
- Sign into your online account
- View your options to prevent your shut off by clicking “Get Help Paying” and following the directions.
If you’re not currently on a payment agreement:
- To prevent your scheduled termination and gradually pay off your past-due balance, apply for a new one.
If your payment agreement is past due:
- Review the cost necessary to end your shutoff and resume your agreement.
- In the event that you are unable to make that payment, check our bill help page to see if you are eligible for one of our income-eligible assistance programs, such as Operation HELP, LIHEAP, and ERAP, which can assist you in paying the required sum to prevent your scheduled shut off.
- The income requirements for OnTrack, a long-term payment plan that offers lower monthly payments and debt forgiveness, are also available for your review.

You might be qualified for a due date extension if you’re not in arrears on your payments and just require a little more time. If you used less, we’ll credit your account.
