Tooele City is switching our utility online payment/bill pay softwareAll online customers must switch to our new Municipal Online Payments system if they are currently paying their utilities through Xpress Bill Pay.
In order to avoid receiving duplicate statements from both Municipal and Xpress Bill Pay during the transition, you should also turn off autopay and remove your account from the service.To turn off autopay, click the toggle button next to >>Autopay in the top menu of your Xpress Bill Pay account after logging in.Select Accounts from the top menu once more, and then choose Remove Account. By May 31, 2021, all online payment accounts must be converted to the Municipal system.
PAPERLESS BILLING is available through the Municipal Online Payment System, but you must set it up.You must first create an account at https://wwwmunicipalonlinepaymentscom/tooeleutSelect “Utility Billing” once you have created an account and are logged in to it.There will be a screen with a menu that reads “Online Services” on the right side of it.There are two check boxes on the “Sign up for e-Billing” screen.Make sure the “Email Electronic Copy” box is checked and the “Mail Paper Copy” box is unchecked if you want to go paperless. Make sure you then hit “update”
Additionally, you can “Sign up for reminders from Tooele City” to receive TEXT NOTIFICATIONS or EMAIL REMINDERS in REAL TIME regarding your utility account.
